Fear is designed as a protective mechanism for yourself.  Protect your physical body, protect your spiritual self, protect your mind and protect your loved ones around you.  Fear is the trigger for you to make a decision of "STAY AND FIGHT" or "TAKE FLIGHT AND RUN".   Fear is a powerful weapon which can unite or divide people to take action or in-action.  Political and religious leads leverage fear to persuade people to mobilize.

WHY DO MY FEARS COME TRUE?

Its important to understand the foundation of Self Directed Faith is based around emotional discharge of negative and positive energy to influence the universe to deliver to use what we desire.  Please take a moment to read the prior statement again and really take a moment to understand this statement.   When you fear something or someone or a potential outcome in your life, typically, you are spending significant amount of energy around this fear.   Often, you take a moment to think about it, you will identify that your are not only thinking about the fear, but your are spending a lot of emotional energy, giving your fears power.   You are really broadcasting from your body, mind and sole your fear.

So, if you are sending negative energy into the air, one would assume you should attract positive energy back -- here lies the real issue.  As you think, your are actually thinking positive thoughts - like I AM NOT SCARED, I AM NOT GOING TO BE AFRAID, I AM LOVED, I AM NOT ALONE, PEOPLE LIKE ME, I AM STRONG, etc.  These are typically the positive thoughts a lot of people in fear think about.   If you really take a moment to think about your FEARS, and listen to your thoughts, what are you saying in your mind vs. how are you feeling.   Its most like, you are thinking positive thoughts but your fears are projecting out of you - thus, as a result you are going to attract what you FEAR because your sub-conscience is stronger than your conscience.   Additionally, you are sending out emotions, which transmits your thoughts into the universe, thus attracting exactly what you feared.   If some of this sound foreign to you, then you will want to review the core foundation of Self Directed Faith and take time to speak or attend our sessions so that we can help you understand this information and provide you the knowledge and tools to manifest the self-love that you want for peace and happiness, today!

FEAR is MEANT to PROTECT YOU from HURTING!

Here are steps to REPLACE FEARS with SELF-LOVE.  Please note that you cannot remove or displace fears, you can simply learn to understand them and get more insight into what causes you to be fearful, then as you become more familiar with the facts of what caused you to be fearful, you will start to see how to address the fear and replace it with love, affection and understanding.   Fear is often considered as a "negative charge", this while negative is powerful and can be an emotional discharge.

1. Take deep breath, pause, then take another, not take a deeper breath and focus your attention to your core fear, ask yourself; WHAT AM I SCARED OF THE MOST, THAT WHICH HAS KEPT ME FROM ACHIEVING PEACE AND HAPPINESS IN MY LIFE?

2. Now, breath, as you PAUSE in SILENCE.  Don't try to answer this question with your mind but allow it to settle in your mind.  Take another deep breath, and now fill your lungs with air, as much as you can and hold it in as you exhale your breath, think about the FEAR that which you identified.

3. As you take another breath, start to feel the fear, do you feel the fear?   Can you visualize the root cause of your fear, is it a person, is it a thing, is it a situation --- breath again as you ask yourself this question to identify the root cause of your fear.

4. Now that you have identified the fear, you will want to imagine that you are far, far and even further away from this fear.... walk, run, hide, fly, shield yourself --- take a moment to move as far away from this fear as you can.... take another deep breath and ask yourself - AM I FAR ENOUGH FROM THIS FEAR THAT IT CANNOT HURT ME?   Breath and wait for the answer... it must be yes for you to move forward.

5. Now close your eyes, imagine and FEEL that you are SAFE, PROTECTED, SHIELDED from your FEAR and WORRIES.... now you are ready to LOOK and EXAMINE your fear(s).   Take a deep breath and examine it more clearly.   Dig deeper to look at this fear, look at it from the top, look at it from the bottom, look at it from the side, look at it from every angle.

6. Now as you examine your feelings as you imagine the fear from afar, how do you feel, take a deep breath and allow yourself to feel the fear, understand the feeling of this fear... allow yourself to get familiar with this feeling of fear.

7. As you complete this examination from far, far, far away from the fear --- you are protected from your fear but you can see it, feel it and experience it from a safe place within your mind.  Now take a deep breath and feel how it would feel if you did not have this fear but was able to replace it with love.   How would you feel if you could see this fear from afar, but see it with love?

8. Take a moment to breath deeply as your visualize spiral circles of brilliant white and florescent blue light flowing from where you are and projecting on this fear the purity of love and affections and joy.   Imagine for a minute that you are able to wash the fear away with clean pure water that dazzles of glitter from the sun light.  Imagine the fear washing away leaving your simple solutions that you can take to address your fears and replace them with love, joy and peace.

9. As you take a deep breath, smile, smile again, feel your heart beating with love and joy as you smile .... now as you smile and feel your heart beating with joy, come closer to your fear.  Take your time to see it, does your fear look different?  Does your fear feel different?  Do you feel that you have a solution to your fears?

BALANCED PRAYER FOR REPLACING MY FEARS WITH SELF-LOVE

In the name of my "Father in Heaven" and "Mother Earth where I reside", bring my top fear into focus, surface them so that I can see them, feel them, touch them, inspect them, think about them with SAFETY as I have TRAVELED FAR AWAY from MY FEAR and STAND BESIDE MY FATHER IN HEAVEN WHO PROTECTS ME WITH A SHIELD OF WHITE BRIGHT LIGHT.

My father in Heaven, as I give you all of my fears, my worries, and from this day forth you will carry my fears as I have none!  I have filled my sole, my body, my spirit with clean blue loving light that has come from the Heaven above, I am drowned by healing protection of this beautiful glorious brilliant light that beats at the same pulse as my heart beat.  All around me, I feel the love, I feel the light, I feel the joy.

Why Positive Self Talk Does Not Work for the Long-term?

"Stories" - pause for a minute and listen, do you hear yourself talking in your head?  If you can pause your mind, you will soon find that you are in a constant dialogue with yourself.  Can you stop this conversation within yourself?  Many people who practice meditation, they reach a point of silence -- silencing the mind -- this is known as getting to balance or reaching inner peace.  Self-talk, is the process of speaking to yourself, in your mind, what stories are you telling yourself that trigger good and bad decisions every second?

Let us take a moment to discuss - "SELF TALK" or the "STORIES WE TELL OURSELVES".

Where does this come from?

How did it get there?

How do I control and change it?

Can I stop talking to myself?

Does it really matter?

Self talk or the stories we have internalized come from everyone and everything around us. The stories we tell ourselves came from events, information and feelings, which typically occurred in the past, typically when we are children. These past experiences reside within our sub-conscience.  They are learning's which we carry from the past and are designed by us, to protect us in the future.  These self talk thoughts evoke triggers of positive or negative feelings -- LOVE or FEAR, designed to help us make decisions for ourselves in everyday life.  Typically, by the time we are adults, we have many of these learning's integrated within our sub-conscience. This makes it very difficult as we get to adulthood, we are typically going through life with the same fears and love needs as as in our childhood.

Many self help resources are available in books, CDs, documentaries, and all types of information online.  While much of the information can have SHORT-TERM IMPACT because most are focused on words of affirmation, positive self talk, etc, they do not have the ingredient necessary for life long changes that one desires.  Typically, because the root change that has to be made is within the sub-conscience mind, body and soul (spirit).

Why does POSITIVE SELF TALK only work for the Short-Term?

There are two parts which make up our mind, the sub-conscience and the conscience.   Most of the positive words, positive affirmations are designed to help us, but they often do not and cannot penetrate into our sub-conscience.   As most of us already know that our sub-conscience mind is much stronger and we are not in control of it through simple thoughts.  However, we can and know how to make significant changes to our sub-conscience through the use of "Balanced Prayers".

How do I use Balanced Prayers to Change My Self Talk and Manifest The Life I Want to Live?

  1. Take a deep breath, then pause, take another deep breath, LISTEN, stop your ears from hearing, stop your eyes from seeing, stop your activities, just feel your breathing.   Now take another deep breath and really LISTEN to your thoughts.   Practice this until you are really aware of YOUR SELF TALK - THE STORIES YOU ARE TELLING YOURSELF.
  2. When you are out and about with people, working, or just with your family or friends, as you communicate with each other - reflect on your internal listening skills - WHAT ARE YOU SAYING TO YOURSELF? Can you hear your thoughts, as someone speaks or as you speak to others?  Are you able to LISTEN TO YOUR INTERNAL SELF TALK?  If yes, move forward, or go back to #1 and practice how to be aware of your internal self talk speaking to yourself.
  3. Once you are consistently aware of your self talk, you are now ready to ask yourself - WHO is speaking to you?, WHAT are they saying to create fear or love? & WHY are you reacting the way you are reacting? - The information you hear or see or feel from others and with your internal story telling, triggering you to react and make decisions based on past fears or love.  Please note that all of our present decisions are based on PAST EXPERIENCES, that is your reference point.
  4. Take a moment now to think about the stories you are telling yourself. Try to categorize your stories into FEAR or LOVE.  You will want to UNDERSTAND this information so that you can decide if your past feelings are actually valid and relevant TODAY? If it's time to REPLACE YOUR OLD SELF TALK WITH NEW STORIES, then lets get started.   Please note that you cannot stop telling yourself stories, you can only replace them with other stories.
  5. Now that you have come to accept and understand your past stories - you are ready to DESIGN A BALANCED PRAYER to REPLACE YOUR STORIES with EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT FOR THE LONG-TERM.

 

Please take a moment to gather your thoughts, here is something you will want to process:

  1. Define in great DETAIL your REPLACEMENT STORY.   This is the NEW STORY you want to tell yourself.  This can be as simple as I want to lose weight by 20 pounds (be specific) within the next 4 months or I want to make more money by selling $10K jobs that will bring me my $3K commission, etc.  Select words of affirmation, like, I have the tools to achieve my goals, or I have the will power to manifest what I need and want, etc.   Most of you have heard about words of affirmation (positive self talk) already, so I will not elaborate here.
  2. Now this is what makes Self Directed Faith - Balanced Prayer, different from others -- you now have to take a minute to pause and think about what you DO NOT WANT to happen.  It is not sufficient for you to ask for what you want via positive affirmations, but you must balance the negative self talk by dismissing them so that you can reprogram your sub-conscience.   The re-programming must take hold if you are going to see the changes in your life that you are seeking.  This critical step of dismissing negative thoughts as you promote the new stories, is the most critical step to success.
  3. Finally, you will want to verbalize, visualize and EMOTIONALLY FEEL the changes has already taken place for you to see the changes you desire.  This process of balancing the positive and negative and bringing your conscience and sub-conscience to be congruent with each other brings the new learnings into existence.  Long-term changes in your life will flow without effort.  Please note that as you send out the prayer, you will want to close your eyes, visualize your changes, feel the emotions of you achieving your results and sending it into the Universe with conviction (your voice) and imagine a blue colored light glowing all around your body and bursting out of you, through you, around you.
  4. The balanced prayer needs to be performed at least in the morning and evening hours when you awaken and go to sleep for a minimum of 6 weeks for the cycle of the past, replaced with the changes that you want to see take shape.

As you move forward with life you have come to experience love and give love in a SEQUENCE.  This is your PREFERRED LOVE LANGUAGE SEQUENCE - your language for love giving and accepting love from others.   Every person in the world needs love and acceptance.

 

STEP 1: Please take a moment to FOCUS ON YOURSELF and go DEEP within YOURSELF to identify your specific LOVE LANGUAGE SEQUENCE.  

STEP 2: Please take a moment to FOCUS ON YOURSELF and go DEEP within YOURSELF to identify your SPOUSE's LOVE LAGUAGE SEQUENCE.

STEP 3: If you see that you are exactly alike, you are blessed that both of you are able to love  and accept love the same way, while others with different love language sequence, you have to understand how to communicate and give love to your spouse and help your spouse learn to process and give you love the way you need it.

As you go through this exercise, while you can get marriage counseling, friends counseling, family counseling, advice from books, internet, other sources, -- the decisions are for YOU TO MAKE and there is no shortcuts to a successful marriage / relationship.   Self Directed Faith, it all starts with YOU.

Getting to know yourself, love yourself first, and then learn how to love your spouse and others around you. You cannot change others and what you have chosen within YOUR SUBS-CONSCIENCE as the love language sequence, that is how you will accept love.   All other options, it's likely you will feel unfulfilled.
